Dad at Hospital Again

Got the call from my oldest brother last night at 11:50 MT, saying he was on the way to pick up ex-step mom, Dad had been taken by ambulance to the Emergency Room for seizures.  They called back around 2:20 this morning saying that Dad has been stabilized and we’ll know more later.

About Resilient Heart

TBI x3, that's me! If you had a Traumatic Brain Injury (or Injuries!) and knew you might not remember dates, events, people, etc., would you live each day differently? Would you give more, forgive more, heal more? I am. The statistics for me developing Dementia or Alzheimer's is a high possibility - one, because of the TBIs, and two - because I'm genetically predisposed. Come with me as this present moment is all we know we have... Wishing you all the best - today & always. Blessings, Love & Peace, RH

  1. I’m very sorry to hear that. I”m thinking of you. How are you doing?

  2. Yes, please remember you must take care of yourself. You’ll need rest to get through this and lots of it. Lots of hugs coming your way.

    • Thank you, Sheri. So very true, there is no way through but the path of self-care or I’ll crash. I’ve been here before, life stretching, so much to deal with, but need to remember first things first.

Hugs to you, I hope you’re doing well.

  3. I only hit “like” here because I like knowing what’s going on.
You are all still in my thoughts and prayers.
    Keep us informed,
